Nutrition for Glycogen Storage Disease - Baby Foods: Fruit, Vegetables and Cereal
These instructions are for caregivers of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia patients who have glycogen storage disease (GSD).

Patient instructions:

Offer your baby a variety of foods from the lists below. Avoid any tomatoes, sweet potatoes and any vegetable packaged or prepared with sugar or milk.

Remember to read the ingredient list on all foods to make sure the food is safe for your baby. Learn more about which ingredients to avoid.
Fruits:
Avoid fruits. They contain a lot of fructose, and your baby cannot have fructose.
Vegetables:
Gerber baby foods

Beech Nut baby foods
Cereals and grains safe for your child:
Gerber cereals
