Foods That May Irritate the Urinary Tract

Apple juice

Caffeine (coffee, tea, Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew)

Carbonation (soda or seltzer water)

Chocolate

Citrus fruits or juices (oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruit)

Sport drinks (such as Gatorade)

Other fruits or juices that are acidic (cranberries, guava, pineapple, tomatoes, peaches, plums, strawberries, grapes, cantaloupes, apples)

Spicy foods/chilies

Vitamin C

Vinegar (pickles)

Artificial Sweeteners

Try to drink as much water as possible. Milk and apricot juices are non-acidic drinks you can have. You can also add flavors to water to sweeten it (vanilla, mint, small amount of Jell-O mix).
