Get Up and Move Video-Preventing Blood Clots in Hospitalized Children

 

Kids and teens who are in the hospital are at a greater risk of developing blood clots. One of the best ways to prevent a clot is by getting up and moving. This video presents an exercise routine designed to help patients stay active while confined to their rooms. There are 3 exercises with standing, sitting and bed modifications.

Choose the exercise which meets your activity ability and repeat while other variations are demonstrated.
